Beckham Law flat rate regardless of your state
The US-Spain tax picture is identical for everyone — the 1990 DTA, Beckham Law, FBAR and Modelo 720 apply regardless of which state you come from. But your state's residency exit rules, income tax rate and aggressive assertion of continued domicile can create very different departure costs and compliance burdens. California, New York and New Jersey require the most careful exit planning; Texas, Florida and Nevada residents face no state tax at all.
Jacob Salama handles every US-Spain case personally — from pre-departure planning to ongoing dual-filing and Modelo 720 compliance.
